RAM REPORTS: Report: CompUSA Source
Reports Sept. 24th iBook Debut ! According to our CompUSA
source who works for CompUSA and wishes to remain
anonymous, our source claims CompUSA is preparing for a
September 24th Launch Date for Apple's consumer
portable Laptop computer the iBook.
When asked about any
special promotions such as Midnight sales on Launch Day
or iBook Demo Days, like there was for the
debut of the iMac he replied that he didn't think that
was going to happen, He did confirm however
that Apple Reps would be present in CompUSA stores
nationwide and that the Apple reps would be there to
answer iBook product questions, but he also noted that
marketing plans were still being worked on as we spoke
and didn't have any other advertising info at this
time. At this time
CompUSA
is taking pre-orders for the iBook . ( I would keep an eye on
the Market Source web site just in case they start
