Mac OS X: Part III -Soon to be Really Here iBook-User

Mac OS X Is Sound, Stable, But Wait Until It Gets Better The Wall Street Journal

Walter Mossberg of the WSJ reports "I asked a Mac-savvy friend to test it on a two-year-old iBook with a 300 MHz G3 processor. Although Mac OS X is supposed to run on any G3 or G4 Mac sold since 1999 with 128 megabytes of memory, on my friend's machine it was slow at some tasks, such as opening new windows and menus. Apple acknowledges the problem, and pledges to fix it in coming months."
